Ukraine’s losses since 2022 amount to almost 500,000 soldiers Russia’s Shoigu

KYIV, Apr 23 : Ukraine has lost almost half a million soldiers since the beginning of the special military operation in 2022, Russian Defence Ministry Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday.

“In total, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to almost half a million military personnel since the beginning of the special military operation,” Shoigu told a Defence Ministry meeting.

In addition, Russia has downed more than 22,000 drones, 37 balloons, and about 6,000 MLRS shells, as well as almost 900 aeroplanes and helicopters and about 1,000 missiles, the minister said. (UNI)
