4 Russian wrestlers will participate in the same weight category at the Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling
On July 11, the official list of participants of the Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling was published on the website of the United World Wrestling Federation.
In the weight category up to 74 kg there are 4 Russian athletes who will compete under the flag of other countries:
Chermen Valiev – Albania
Taimuraz Salkazanov – Slovakia
Viktor Rassadin – Tajikistan
Razambek Zhamalov – Uzbekistan
Zaurbek Sidakov, the current champion of this weight class, and Magomedhabib Kadimagomedov, the current vice-champion, were not admitted to the Olympic Games.
Also Hetik Tsabolov (Serbia) will not take part in the Olympic Games – Ali Arsalan will play for Serbia.
